A fridge full of cheese

Hosted the lab Christmas party at my place yesterday. Decided it would be a good idea to have 14 people crammed into my tiny loft apartment and make pizzas. I asked everyone to bring pizza topping. The concept worked well but for the fact that every second person bought either mushrooms or fetta and then left all the left over ingredients in my fridge. Hmmm...must now trawl the net for imaginative mushroom and fetta receipes.

mushrooms stuffed with fetta, anyone?

Well, you have the basics for a good risotto and lots of antpasto so I'd start there!

Thanks for the ideas. So far, I've been tossing everything with couscous. The fridge is very slowly starting to empty.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I'm no génie culinaire so if you can't spread it on toast of peel the lid off it and stick a spoon into it I'm pretty useless!

They might be all gone now, but you could make some sort of Greek Pie in pastry with the cheese, mushrooms, eggs and perhaps spinach. Very yummy!

Mmmm...Greek pie sounds good. Unfortunately, only thing left is the cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.

pop it all in a jar - throw in some herbs, whole bay leaves, peppercorns and dried chillies and then smother the lot in lovely olive oil!

preserves the cheese, adds some yummy flavours and makes it last longer.
