In the news...

Goes to show that you never really know when or where you might be photographed (I'm the bald one in front of the 300K + painting).

I read all the report and was struck by the final lines: "for $40 and $60 respectively, a price range at which Sothebys never used to operate".

When one is rocketed into high media profile, at least one may take comfort in it being in a refined location.
Hope you got a lovely piece of art out of the night.

Oh, and there I was thinking that you were the bright spot purchased by the Museum!

AO: I did make a purchase but at a much more modest sum that what the museum paid for their's.

Victor: I'm afraid I was part of the 'dull auction'.
